Snap Edits To Zero Crossings

Hi, I use Logic for heavily sample based production, so snapping edits to zero crossings is essential for me. I have been spending a lot of time doing this manually creating my sample libraries, as the Snap Edits To Zero Crossings just does not seem to work when I have it turned on (I am very particular about this as I hate clicks and pops, I always zoom in to maximum to make sure). Sometimes it is not even close. I see there are some old threads from 4/5 years ago saying this was a continous bug...it seems like it has not been fixed? Has anyone had resolution with this? So are you saying your Marquee selection does not snap to zero crossing when you move it with the arrow keys? Or what audio editing are you performing exactly?
