Is there a way to flex time/quantize audio and midi data at the same time

Hello forum

 

My goal is to be able to make a fully editable hybrid electronic/acoustic kit; real cymbals and mesh head midi drums.

 

I was wondering if anyone out there that has done this, (or something similar), has found a way to flex time/quantize both the midi and audio information at the same time?

 

Preferably, I'd rather not have to commit to a bounce down of each midi drum track to audio. It would be great to be able to time edit everything whilst retaining the ability to swap out drum samples.

 

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Just wondering if you could check David, but Flex analysing used occur immediately after a track was recorded (if it had a Flex also enabled) prior to 10.4... It no longer seems to do this, requiring a manual analyse. Slows things down a bit.

Hmmm that looks like a bug. It looks like the analysis takes place when you stop recording but the Flex data is displayed only very briefly. Then you have to turn it off an on to display it again.
