Logic Pro 9 Adaptive Limiter not preventing peaking on instrument tracks

Hi,

I'm currently having a problem with Logic Pro 9's adaptive limiter (my apologies if this has been covered in another thread).

I'm using it on a couple of drum tracks in my project and it's basically not working at all (ignoring any out ceiling I set and peaking anyway as if there were no limiter plugged in). It is working fine on my Output however.

I'm not sure how to remedy this. Anyone got any ideas?

Cheers

Could you upload a screenshot of the channel strip and the open plugin GUI?

As far as I remember, the LP9 AdL didn't have an "Intersample peaks" setting, so peaks may still happen. However, I have not before heard of anyone using the AdL on individual tracks - not sure if it can handle certain sharp transients that often happen in drumtracks. It should have some effect though.

The Platinum Compressor is much better suited for taming drumpeaks. The MultiPressor is also a good tool for that - better than the AdLimiter.
