Plugins being scanned on start up

Recommended Posts

Hi Internet,

I had a problem with a plugin not working properly and deleted it. Also deleted the "com.apple.audiounits.sandboxed.cache". I guess that one thing created a problem that I haven´t experienced before:

Any time I open LogicX or Mainstage 6 Plugins are being scanned as if I have installed new plugins though I haven´t. I do own way more than those 6 Plugins so it is not a complete rescan of all my Plugins but a process of scanning 6 specific Plugins (don´t know which one exactly). LogicX scans every time I open the programm.

How can I make LogicX stop scanning for new PlugIns on start up when I haven´t changed anything?

I read that normally a "com.apple.audiounits.sandboxed.cache" File should be created after rescanning once so that it won´t rescan again. But this file is not being created in my Audio Cache. Could this be the actual problem?

I am using Logic X since more than 6 years and never experienced this issue before.

Could anyone please help?
