Pre amp sample rate question!?

Recommended Posts

They both are analog devices so they don't have anything to detect on the digital side. They'll go in your interface's analog inputs(use the line inputs not the XLR preamp ones if you can't change the input levels/impedance of your XLR inputs). Your interface converters will do the job of converting them to 0s and 1s.

That being said, the 6176 is one beast of a channel strip...

Remember also that both models you linked offer very different tools and capabilities

The Neve is a classic. But it gives you 2 inputs and nothing else.

The UA is a pre-amp/EQ/1176 Compressor all in one. But just one channel.

If you gonna use it for vocals or acoustic guitar, definitely the UA.
