I think I am gonna go for this wide screen monitor, looks great with Logic,

How would I connect it to my Macbook Pro 2015? without using the HDMI port.

Would I need a mini display to display connector? and plug it in my Thunderbolt port on the macbook pro?

Many thanks for any help.

any answers on this? really not sure which cable/connector to use

And is this screen gonna be better than my Apple Thunderbolt 27 Display?

Same vertical resolution, and you'll loose the thunderbolt hub and power supply to your MBP that yourcurrent 27" gives you. Depends on if you want to see more horizontally that badly…
