nocturnal
Hey David do you ever do this sort of thing in NY?
David Nahmani
No, the Logic Pro Help training center is in Los Angeles, in the beautiful Vermont Village, a charming busy neighborhood full of little restaurants. Worth the trip, I swear!

David Nahmani
it's worth the trip..especailly in the winter What's a winter? So Dave, you're coming?
dkgross
can't do this one, David...I'm going to slug thru it on my own at first..I've got a project to do this weekend, so I'll do the 'I used to do xxx, in L7....what new thing does L8 have that I can use?" approach....No client deadline. But...a Winter trip may happen, especially if it's around NAMM/Grammy time. I really want to get to the Grammys this year. I'm about NAMM'd out I got a vague response from Apple regarding my 'what's going to happen to us Level 2 Certified Pro's in regards to 're-certification??' question....I'm waiting for another follow up email.. My GUESS is that we'll be able to just get the book/retest for a nominal fee for Level 1, and get a discount on new Level 2 training/certification...but...I just don't know. David Nahmani
That sounds reasonable. I'm sure they'll help the current certified users one way or another. Hey so let me know when you come down here! Around NAMM we will have a user group meeting with the german developers.

rob glow
it's worth the trip..especailly in the winter You should try Wales. It's worth the trip in the height of Summer there! Shame about the 10+ hour flight and prohibitive cost of travelling. Otherwise, I'd love to attend one...

So version 7 now no longer functions on your computer and therefore now "has no use?" And yes, Logic is and always has been programmed by German programmers.
