ManFromNapa
I'm doing some research on LUFS and mastering for online distribution. There is LOTs of information out there regarding what each platform like, but what about CD format? Once upon a time you would master for loudness, and to ensure you had a -.1db peak. How does LUFS come into play. is that still considered normal, or is there a LUFS standard I can use? I want to make sure my music sounds the same across all platforms. You can use this as a reference if you want to print CDs: https://www.loudnesspenalty.com

ManFromNapa
Did some research today. Found the following podcast from the guys who wrote the Loudness Penalty talking about why they made it, and things to consider while using it. https://themasteringshow.com/episode-51/ Also... I figured out today that if you load your song and play it, you can select the different services to hear the different. AWESOME!
