Sudden pop and freeze in Logic?

Hi

So I was editing some audio in Logic Pro today, then suddenly there was a loud pop and everything froze for about 30 seconds, after that all was fine,

 

the only thing I have changed is I have connected my audio interfaces and hard drives now connected through a Belkin TB2 Dock.

 

 

Any advice appreciated.

Hi Triplets, so its probably the dock? If it happens again I will connect directly to the computer again, bit of a waste of money getting the dock! if thats it

Dock disconnects happen. They're not perfect.

I may never know though! its never happened before, and I have just started using the dock, the dock gets very hot, is that normal?

Never used a Belkin.

I use a T3 Pro Dock from OWC and it has a fan.
