Logic Pro X not opening because of deleted plugin

Hello, I have a Macbook Pro and I have Logic Pro X on it. Recently I installed a driver for my Steinberg UR22C, because I bought a UR22C. Along with the driver, it installed ELicenser. But after that, I deleted ELicenser because I didn't need it.

Since then, Logic Pro X and Garage Band don't open up. Is there any way I can permanently delete it from the plugins?

Thank You!

None of those things should be related.

Does Logic start if you hold "control" while launching it and choosing to not start the audio driver?

I tried that now and it says this:

eLicenser Control - Error

Application 'REV-X AU' has caused the following error:

No eLicenser connected.

Options:

- For troubleshooting information click .

- Connect a valid eLicenser and click .

- Click to abort.

Sorry, I tried it again and I clicked Don't Launch when the core audio bit came. But then I go to try and add a new track and it doesn't work, everything is greyed out. So I go to the input and try to change it to my inbuilt mic (to see if it works) and then Logic hangs. It stays stuck at initializing audio. Then I close it, to see that there is a popup saying that my eLisencer doesn't work...

Well, it sounds like you're trying to load a project containing an elicenser plugin.

Remove your REV-X AU component file from your plugin directory, and that plugin will no longer be loaded, and it will not demand authorisation.

Thanks, I checked the forum and they said that I needed to use the elicenser to activate it. But I am also having issues with my codes and stuff, I got the free applications from the UR22C and for some reason, I am not able to reactivate the codes from the eLicenser. I have contacted Steinberg about it so I hope that it will work.

I just checked if I could use the plugin manager and I cannot... Whenever I open Logic Pro it gets stuck on the startup screen where it says "Updating information about Audio Unit plug-ins..." When I force quit Logic I can see that the main reason is the eLicenser and the plugins that are interfering with Logic.

I left the startup screen on for more than 3 hours and it was still stuck on the same screen. I am only able to open Logic when I hold 'control' and startup logic.

Did you check the Logic's Components folder?

I checked it now and the components folder is empty...

How could the components folder be empty? Are you looking at the folder in your home directory or the main Library folder? It should be the main one. Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components

That's what I thought, I checked in the components folder and there was nothing there...

You're looking in the wrong folder. It's not under Users.

Just double click your System drive and go here:

Macintosh HD / Library / Audio / Plug-ins / Components

Thank you so much, I am free to delete them now right?

I have the exact same problem.

I downloaded the Steinberg UR242 drivers and it downloaded the e-licenser software. Since then I have not been able to start Logic, and even Garageband due to e-licenser plug in

Application 'Sweet Spot Morphing Channel Strip AU' has caused the following error: eLicenser(s) contain(s) no valid license for this application.

I have tried installing/uninstalling the e-licenser software, the Steinberg Software, and I have accessed the plug ins folder on my laptop, tried removing all e-licenser/Steinberg content from the folder, and I still can't open Logic.

My next step is to un/reinstall Logic, but wanted to check if anyone has any other ideas before I go down this route?

Thanks in advance for any help with this.

I'm having the same problem. BUT IT DOESN'T HAVE THE SWEET SPOT MORPHING CHANNEL STRIP AU anywhere in the computer. It's not in the components folder. So I can look in that folder all I want, it's not there. But I'm still getting the error message saying that eLicenser (which I've deleted) contains no valid license for this application.
