fumesitory
Hey all! I hope this is a right topic area for this discussion... I'm mastering my song for streaming services in Logic Pro X and I use Loudness Meter (Login plugin and YouLean plugin) + True Peak Detection to keep the volume/loudness in a desired level. According to those plugins, everything is fine: the LUFS peak is -14.1 dB and TP -2 dB which fits Spotify perfectly. Anyways, I also dropped my song to loudness penalty.com website and it says that Spotify would decrease the overall volume by -2.2 dB. Which one should I trust, loudnesspenalty.com (which seems to be pretty reliable) or Logic Pro plugins?
triplets
You should be fine. Logic's meters are pretty good. Try to read the LUFS average as well on Logic's Multimeter, which is the upper number. Remember human hearing is based on averages, so looking at the RMS values is useful too.
