hammerpocket
Just opening a project puts it in a state of having been edited (i.e. a dot is in the window close button and Logic asks if you want to save changes when closing the project). This was new with 10.5, right? It really bugs me and I was hoping it would go away in 10.5.1, but no luck.

David Nahmani
Just opening a project puts it in a state of having been edited (i.e. a dot is in the window close button and Logic asks if you want to save changes when closing the project), That's not the case here. Does it happen only in projects with 3rd party plug-ins perhaps?

hammerpocket
Oh, interesting. So it's just me I guess. I checked a project that only uses Logic plugins and it did the same thing. Saved it and opened again just to test and still got the immediate "edited" state. Any other ideas?

hammerpocket
I just tested a brand new empty project. Saved it and reopened -- does not indicate edits. So there is something happening with my other projects. I'm not sure I have any more elaborate projects started in 10.5 or later, but I'll check. TripleYoThreat
I've notice this sometimes happens if you move the playhead even. I'm on 10.4.0 and I've been seeing that more or less since 10.2.0. Unless you didn't have this before 10.5, although it may be compared to a time when you didn't play or move the playhead

Eriksimon
Any change is an edit. Even the reloading of a sampler instrument, or the tiniest moving of any window, or the plugins being in "suspended" state.
