MAmeza7
Hello, I had a question about the direction mixer plug-in in Logic Pro, in terms of using it with a stereo track. I get confused on the "spread" and the "direction" sections of the plug in. I was curious if someone could explain the difference between these two sections? Thank you! rAC
Spread - how wide is the signal ie how far apart are the left and right of it. Direction - where is the centre of the signal eg the centre of the sound is 45 degrees on the left.
David Nahmani
Keep in mind that the spread actually narrows the stereo field, meaning with a tiny spread, whatever the direction setting, your signal is going to be very close to the center of the stereo field.
