kerochan
Good evening Using the adaptive limiter, I have it set at -0.1 which should mean its NOT clipping, but my stereo out is in the red! Does this mean its clipping or not?

stratquebec
It is not clipping. The clip indicator shows 0. Thank you, so being in the red doesnt count as clipping? Exact. The stereo out peak level display indicator level shows 0 and the stereo out volume fader display shows -0.1, if you deactivate Pre fader Metering. The level meter can never go over 0. Disengage your limiter and look at the clip indicator. Activate the Help menu>Quick help and place your pointer over the indicators to get some info of what they show. David Nahmani
Exact. The peak indicator level shows 0, the volume display shows -0.1. It's the other way around: the peak level display reads -0.1 dB which indicates you're not clipping. The Volume display reads 0 dB.

Maybe I need new glasses but according to the documentation, the channel strip peak level display is the indicator at the upper right (it reads 0), and the volume level at the upper left (it reads -0.1). BUT!!! kerochan has Pre fader metering activated so in that case it's indeed the other way around. The documentation should mention this fact so it would be less confusing!
