sunbambino
HI, After doing a Midi 'separate by note' operation on a midi loop I stacked the resulting tracks in a Summing folder. But I can't add an fx to a single channel without that same fx being added to all the tracks? Should I have separated by Midi Channel instead? Really don't get what's going on here, could someone comment? Cheerz
Solution sunbambino Posted July 9, 2020 Author Solution Share Posted July 9, 2020 Think I managed to solve this. Creating new tracks within the Stack allowed me to assign separate midi channels to each and now I have solo options back with the Sum. Then deleting the old tracks I'm where I wanna be )
David Nahmani
When you separate by pitch you get different tracks all assigned to the same channel strip in your Mixer. You need to create new channel strips (or new software instrument tracks assigned to new channel strips) and drag the MIDI regions on the new tracks for them to be independent channel strips in the Mixer.
