ledbelly73
Hello, first time asking for help on a forum. I'm running Logic 10.5 on a MacBook pro, 2016. Thanks in advance for any help or advice! I had a MIDI piano recording in a single region. I split the region and option-dragged the resulting left side region elsewhere, leaving the original in place (see the screenshot below). I must have clicked "clip notes" when I did this, because now there's a gap in the sound, even though the MIDI notes extend beyond the left region. I tried resizing the region, no luck; I only get the Loop indicator, not the Resize indicator. I also tried joining the two regions, but this resulted in lots of notes disappearing. Merging the two regions led to the same result. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Many thanks for your help! Steve
David Nahmani
That's a take folder: first, flatten the take folder (Option-Shift-U) then resize the region.
