One100
When I arm a track, some synths with running hardware sequencer transpose to the highest pitch. This only happens on the Behringer Crave and Odessey. When the track is not armed this doesn’t happen. Can I prevent this? Thanks for the help. rAC
you might be able to solve this by putting MIDI Monitor on to you computer and observing what is being sent.
One100
Thanks for the reply. Did that and saw nothing abnormal. Will try it again. But, if just arming the track sends indeed a midi event, I probably will not be able to turn if off.
enossified
The Behringer sequencers transpose in response to incoming MIDI notes. Are you using a control surface by any chance? In particular a control surface that uses the Mackie Control protocol. That protocol uses MIDI note messages between the controller and the DAW. Using such a controller to arm a track sends a MIDI note message that may be getting passed on to your hardware synths.
One100
Thanks for the reply. I will look into this. I use an Arturia minilab and a Komplete Kontrol S49 MK1.
One100
Midi monitor detect only clock. Also the track gets armed by selecting it in Logic Pro, not on a control surface. It remains a mistery. Luckily there’s an easy workaround by just selecting another track and keep the track armed.
