Mothergrain
Hi I just got a new Macbook with Logic Pro X installed and now i want to transfer my Garage band demo projects from my old Macbook to my new Macbook and continue to work on them in Logic Pro X. What is the easiest and smoothest way to do this?? (p.s i am not synching my two laptops, as the new one will be for music production only, so all my none music related files will stay on my old macbook, i just want to transfer Garage Band) Thank you so much for your help
des99
USB stick? USB hard drive? Internet service like Dropbox? Access the other computer over your WIFi network and copy the files? Airplay between the two? Email them to yourself? There's lots of ways to move files around, pick whichever best suits your needs...
fisherking
are you asking about the method of turning them into logic files? if you open them in logic, you'll be given the option to save as a logic file; name it, point it to where you want to save it; done. Well, I lumped that in the "Internet service like Dropbox?" category, but sure...
