dissonance Posted September 6, 2020 Share Posted September 6, 2020 What are the benefits or additions that the newest Logic has compared to version 10.4.2? My computer hardware is a Mac Pro 2010 desktop and I dont think it's compatible with the newest Logic versions. des99 Posted September 6, 2020 Share Posted September 6, 2020 Well, the best way is to read Apple's update notes - since 10.4.2, there have been *many* bug fixes, and *many* feature improvements, too many to list here. The latest large features in 10.5 are listed on Apple's Logic website, but include a whole new redesigned Sampler, Quick Sampler, AutoSampler, the Live Loops thing, and a lot more. The latest version requires Mojave 10.4.6 at a minimum (which also requires a computer with a Metal-capable graphics card). Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
