Is there a flanger plugin with full (automatable) control over position of the effect?

I know two plugins where I can at least automate a trigger for when the flanger starts a set curve (Space Invader and MetaFlanger), but I'm looking for something that gives me even more control, so I can move around the flange effect wherever and however I want. Does anybody know of one?

Duplicate the track (and its audio regions) and insert a delay (such as Sample Delay) on one of the tracks, and automate that delay.

Send your signal via bus to an aux, flanger on the aux on full depth (100 % mix on Logics'), lower the aux fader to roll off the effect, automate the pan on the aux.

Sample Delay! I tried a delay, but didn't get the desired effect because I wasn't able to get into the tiny distances (which I didn't know were necessary for the flanging).

--> Sample Delay and holding shift while modulating time is perfect!
