lostblues
I wasn't able to find an answer for this. I tried to remove some plosives using the pen tool on the audio file itself in the Editor window. Went back later and realised I'd ruined a piece of the dialogue. Is there any way to recover this/revert to some original version of the file if I didn't do a back up? thanks
fuzzfilth
No. You were working in the original audio file, as you pointed out.
lostblues
Okay, thanks. Follow-up question ... is there a way to do the pencil thing without being destructive?
fuzzfilth
No. That's pretty much the point of the Audio File Editor. The Audio File Editor has its own undo queue, but I would not rely on that. You can and should work on a copy of the audio file.
