Daen23
My apologies if this has already been addressed, I can't seem to search for it in a way that brings me the answer I'm looking for! Feel free to link me to the appropriate post! So I've got a folder with dozens of different one shot sample WAVs from a Roland JD800 that I want to add into EXS24. I've been going one at a time as I need them but I'm wondering if theres a way to add them all simultaneously to the EXS24 and then be able to simply scroll through a drop down menu of JD800 samples. Thanks for your time and assistance fellow Logic users!
des99
If you upgrade to LPX 10.5.x, then Sampler (the EXS24 replacement) has a bunch of tools to automatically map and create instruments from drag/dropped samples. That's the easiest way to do this...
Djchad72
Does the new Sampler have “librarian” capabilities, i.e. point to a folder, import, tag, and allow you to search with in Sampler?
Daen23
Ah, I was afraid that might be the case. I can't remember what it was but there was some reason compatibility issue for not upgrading to 10.5. I'll have to look into it again. Thanks for the response, much appreciated! Daen23
Oh yeah, a librarian feature would be fantastic, that's for sure
