Song keeps cutting out in random places

So I have logic 10.5.1 on a macbook pro 2018 and in one of my projects, every track in the song will cut out for about half a second at random points. The points change each time I hit play as well. I've tried deleting all tracks using Serum, I turned on low latency mode, I closed out most of the things I had running in the background, I'm not sure what else to do. It's not doing this on any other project I have so it must be something specific to this one. Let me know if more info is needed, thanks!

Are there any 3rd party plug-ins in the Mixer? Try saving a copy of your project and removing all 3rd party plug-ins, see if the issue disappears?

I had the same problem with virtual instruments in very small projects even with CPU-intensive plugins removed. Freeing up available boot drive disk space to greater than 30% seemed to help.
