Solution Music Spirit Posted April 24, 2021 Solution Share Posted April 24, 2021 (edited) Please delete - this question is misguided - I did not realised I had applied the effect to the MASTER Channel hence it was being recreated each time with new tracks I tried to delete this but the message you cannot delete was present. Apologies for taking up air time I should know this by now but... - how do you create a completely neutral new audio track without any of the previous audio track effects/ plugins on it? Shift N in Key commands ( Create new audio track just copies the previous audio track plug ins) Of two buttons at the top of the Channel Strip I would assume the + button creates a completely new track ( ie from the menu where you select what kind of track) When I use this the new track has the previous tracks plugins - and if I mute those - the previous track's plugins are muted I get that the + button on a window symbol just copies the previous track and channel number Edited April 24, 2021 by Music Spirit
stratquebec
Track>New Audio Track or click in the + sign (or Option+Command+N) and select Audio and click on Details and be sure Load Default Patch is not selected.
Music Spirit
Thanks anyway Stratquebec for jumping on so promptly - could have been critical Track>New Audio Track or click in the + sign (or Option+Command+N) and select Audio and click on Details and be sure Load Default Patch is not selected. David Nahmani
Hi Adam, no worries, we don't delete posts ever on the forum, as we can all learn from the activity of each other, even if they're mistakes. If someone has the same issue in the future they can end up on this topic and that will help them. I'll just mark it as solved! Thanks.
