Update OS or Logic first?

First find out if you need to update at all. There is nothing magic to be gained by mere updating, so you only do it if really necessary.

That being said, if a Logic version requires a specific OS level, then you can't download/install it on anything less, so...

For arguments sake, let’s just say I do need to update and both are available to my system.

I’d do the Logic update first as if there are any showstoppers in it it’ll be easier to roll back.

Make sure to make a copy of the app first before you update!

I normally perform the MacOS first, then the Logic update. But either way always backup your Logic version first: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=157172#p823906
