ionshunt
Hello, I hope you're well. Here is my problem with logic 9. I use EZ Drummer , with multichannel, so that it can add tracks for each part of the drum ( HH, Kick, Cymbals and so on ). Yet, today, all these auxiliairies are crossed out, though I can hear them fine. I'm starting to mess around with the Core Audio, the buffer, and I know it's not a good thing... Has anyone got an idea ? I'm sending a pic as well. Best regards,
David Nahmani
Click-hold the EZ Drummer plug-in and make sure it's inserted as a multi-out?
ionshunt
Hi David, I did check what you started with, which is great, but no luck for me, it was already on Multichannel. Here is the test in Audio Unit report. All passed except these ones, which is not surprising: FORMAT TESTS: Reported Channel Capabilities (default config only): input: 0 output: 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2 WARNING: Can Initialize Unit to un-supported num channels:InputChan:0, OutputChan:1 WARNING: Can Initialize Unit to un-supported num channels:InputChan:0, OutputChan:4 WARNING: Can Initialize Unit to un-supported num channels:InputChan:0, OutputChan:5 WARNING: Can Initialize Unit to un-supported num channels:InputChan:0, OutputChan:6 WARNING: Can Initialize Unit to un-supported num channels:InputChan:0, OutputChan:7 WARNING: Can Initialize Unit to un-supported num channels:InputChan:0, OutputChan:8 * * PASS Best,
ionshunt
I have more infos : When i launch a new empty project, insert Ezdrummer ( multichannel ) and click on the + sign, it only brings out one auxiliary, not 7 or 8...
David Nahmani
Hi David, I did check what you started with, which is great, but no luck for me, it was already on Multichannel., What if you try to restart your Mac, open Logic, start a new empty project, insert it as a multi-output and create the output channels again? Ah, we cross-posted. Well try what I suggested and if you get the same behavior then I would contact Toontrack tech support.

David Nahmani
- check " Universal Track Mode" ON Oh boy! Universal Track Mode. An old one but good one. I had forgotten all about that setting, which no longer exists. Back when it did it used to be a very common answer to many online questions. Good to hear you're sorted, and thank you for taking the time for letting us know how you did it.
