vincentzaalberg
Beat Mapping question. Expert needed on this one. Tried on several media composer and Logic forums but no definitive answer yet. When beat mapping a written midi guide to match video sync points (using SMPTE locked markers as anchors) it seems to move the midi inside the region instead of just keeping the notes on the grid. As you can see the notes are being moved forward and off grid. I would need the midi to move relative to the video exactly in the same increment as the grid does after beat mapping certain measures to sync points. How do I prevent this? How do I keep the notes on the grid?

vincentzaalberg
Perfect answer. Thanks Fuzzfilth that worked. Logic team should make that state the default. Makes much more sense for midi.
