How much low end does a kick drum need?

Seriously, I’m still struggling with this even after a long time of producing music applinked. I produce electronic music but approach it as if I’m producing acoustic music so I’m constantly trying to find a balance. Each song is different but what are your rules for kick drum and low end in a mix? Edited by nansi
