Blue Monkey
I have a 2009 iMac, and two Mac Pro's (2010-2012). I'm running into troubles of all sorts between the three machines. I've tried to research my options online but am feeling a bit overwhelmed by all of the compatibility issues and the prospect of having to upgrade machines and software. Could really use some help from someone with more expertise and knowledge than I have. Can anyone recommend a Mac expert/consultant in NYC who is both knowledgable and fare? Prefer someone who makes house calls since each system has it's own distinct issues and concerns. Any leads would be greatly appreciated! MikeRobinson
I'd suggest calling the local Apple retail stores (not necessarily "the pyramid") and ask them if they can recommend anyone in particular. And, if you can be much more specific about what "troubles of all sorts" actually means, you might well get lots more help right here. Blue Monkey
I found a great computer technician in NYC. His name is Sebastian. His business name is ComptechNYC. He’s located at 220 W. 30th Street, 1st floor in a music store called Rogue Music. Phone number is (347)528-0614. Good guy and very skilled at repairing Macs and PC’s. I highly recommend him. 1 Quote MacPro5,1 • 3.2GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon Nehalem • 32 GB RAM OS 10.12.6 • Logic Pro 10.4.4 • Melodyne Studio 4.1.1 Presonus FireStudio Project • M-Audio Axiom 61 • Alesis ControlPad and a banana.
