dace99
I have an Yamaha N1X. I am using a Macintosh Air With a Apple M1 chip. Running Big Sur 11.1. I record using Logic Pro 10.6.1. Logic is recognizing AvantGrand (N1X) as an input device. I set up an audio track but no sound. There is some sort of signal because when I play a chord on the piano it shows what chord it is in the control bar. Midi works but I'd like to record with the onboard sounds of N1X
speakerfood
Is the AvantGrand seen as a MIDI or audio interface, or both? MIDI interfaces appear under Preferences -> MIDI -> Inputs. Audio interfaces appear in the drop down button under Preferences -> Audio -> Devices.

The sounds inside the piano cannot appear in Logic just like that. Unless that piano has a feature that allows you to do that. Gotta read the manual.
