EARAUJO
Is it a good idea for me download logic onto a flash drive? From what ive seen, logic can be over 90 gigs and I dont have that space on my laptop.
des99
A flash drive? You mean like a USB2 key? No, not really, as the performance will be very slow. Logic's content is around 70GB iirc... If you can't manage it internally, then you can move it onto an external drive, or preferably an SSD...

I wouldn't recommend it, normally your apps should be installed inside your Application folder on the system drive. Honestly if you don't have that kind of space available on your system drive then you're going to have issues running Logic Pro successfully. It is recommended to keep ample wiggle room empty on your system drive for MacOS and all your apps (including Logic) to run effectively and without slowing down your Mac or triggering errors. It may be time to invest in a larger drive? Note that you can however relocate the sound library to an external drive (Logic Pro > Sound Library > Relocate Sound Library).
