jafeelz
Hello! In my vocal audio region, Flex pitch boxes aren't showing up for me to be able to edit them. What's particularly curious is that is gives me the option to 'create midi track from flex pitch data.' I've tried: -Removing original tempo -Write Project Temp to Audio file -Flattened/Merged the file -turned logic on/off as well as flex mode multiple times -re-analyzed the file for flex pitch multiple times -Turned 'flex and follow' on and off in the region inspector -bounced in place -convert to new audio file -turned off all plugins -turned to mono Also: It's a simple, clean audio vocal file - it isn't busy Please help!! Can't figure this out. Thanks!! Also attached a screenshot
David Nahmani
On your screenshot we cannot see the pitch range you're looking at. I've found that often with Flex Pitch, what happens is that the pitch range it's showing is very high, as in C8 for example, and you need to scroll down 5 or 6 octaves in order to find the note beams. Try that?
jafeelz
Do you mean scrolling up/down in the audio editing window? I've scrolled all the way up and down but nothing's showed up :/
David Nahmani
Not sure if this is related to your problem or not but I usually recommend against using the / character in a file name as in computer lingo it usually means that you're talking about something inside a folder, for example a/b means that "b" is a file or a folder that is inside the folder "a". jafeelz
oh ok! That makes sense. Were you referring to scrolling up and down in the audio file region? The boxes didn't show up when scrolling up and down octaves
Solution fusbur Posted March 3, 2022 Solution Share Posted March 3, 2022 Have you tried zooming in? I also can't see flex pitch in standard view and always have to zoom.
