NEW TO LOGIC // Logic not exporting my midi tracks when trying to bounce

Im using Moog's Model 15 plug in for Logic. It's an external midi software. When I try to bounce the entire project the MIDI layers from the Moog 15 plug in aren't there/audible. When I try to select 'bounce in place' it's greyed out. I'm using an EZ Drummer midi file and it bounces no problem?

 

I'm totally lost here. Please Help!

You need to record the external audio to a Logic audio track, else Logic knows nothing about the Moog.

Either use an External Instrument plug-in or an Aux track to route the audio from the external synth into Logic's mixer, then bounce in real time.

I've recorded from the Moog 15 software/plug-in onto an audio layer.

 

When I bounce in place it creates a new track layer w/ nothing in it. When I try to bounce in realtime there is still nothing. What am I missing?

You've recorded MIDI data, not audio, as you can see in the region on that track. You need to record the external synth's *audio* to Logic.

Create an Audio Track, not a Midi Track. Midi does not carry any audio, it's just a trigger.
