fusbur
Hi guys I'll shortly be moving to a M1 Mac Mini and performing a clean install of Logic and all of my 3rd Party stuff (Amplitube, Kontakt, Isotope, Eventide stuff and a few free synths). My projects are saved as Folders on an external HD. Will I need to copy my user-defined presets for native and 3rd party plug-ins from my backup drive to the new HD, or are they safely stored in with my projects on the external drive? I have always 'Saved as ...' my plug-in settings for recall in new projects anyway. Thanks a million
David Nahmani
Every project stores the current parameter values of every plug-in inserted in that project, if that's what you're asking?
fusbur
Hi David Yeah, just confirming I'm not about to dump all my own plug-in settings. Presumably to recall those channel strip / plug-in settings into another project, I'd still need to Save As ..
David Nahmani
Yes you would have to save them or if you have already saved them on your old Mac then you could find them in your Finder and import them all to the new Mac.
