stillinthebank
Hi all, I have all of a sudden lost the input from my KORG SP-250 to Logic. Worked yesterday, now completely dead. When I plug in the USB Logic says "Now input 1 and output 1 are available. In the project - no response when I play the keyboard. No signal in. Sound/MIDI preferences are showing "IAC-driver" and "ProdipeMIDIlilo", the latter showed also in Logic/Project Preferences/MIDI/Inputs macOS Big Sur v 11.4 Logic 10.7.2 Can anyone see the reason please? Solution des99 Posted March 5, 2022 Solution Share Posted March 5, 2022 Which MIDI port should the Korg be coming in on? Is it the "ProdipeMIDIlilo"? Or is it something more "Korg"-named, that doesn't seem to be present. have you tried rebooting, replugging the keyboard etc..?
stillinthebank
Sorry for not mentioning this. "ProdipeMIDIlilo" seems to be a generic one. I deleted all midi inputs, rebooted, plugged the keyboard in again and then the "ProdipeMIDIlilo" was automatically installed. I should say "Garage Band" doesn't pick up the keyboard midi either. stillinthebank
Hi all, following this, I have realized it's not a Logic problem but rather a hardware one. https://www.noterepeat.com/articles/pc-troubleshooting/97-troubleshooting-midi-devices-on-mac Sorry for bothering.
