mmmmwhatchasaymmmm
Hello! I've been at this for weeks now but I still can't figure out how much I should pitch bend and what notes to pitch bend. I want to do a remake of this live performance: by Doja Cat's "Get into it (yuh)" and the part that I need help with is at 1.02. Would really appreciate the help! Thank you in advance! fuzzfilth
The hook goes g# g# f# g# to a# from where it bends down seven semitones to d#.

Thank you for you reply but I mean specifically the pitch bend at 1.02 to 1.03! That's the one I can't figure out!

The one that sounds like an 80’s pad?

Zipfunk
It doesn’t sound very ‘metered’ I’d just hit the chord and pitch bend a 4th or so. To me, it doesn’t sound like the original is an exact pitch rise but just a stab that someone hit the pitch wheel on. More of a feel thing. I apologize if this isn’t the scientific answer you hoped for. It seems to me to be a feel thing. Drew

After your answer I just kind of "gave up" finding the perfect pitch and played around a little bit and filtered out all of the different synths and voila..! I got different pitch bends for all of the different synths and some synths didn't even pitch bend! I've been able to recreate all of the synths and different chords and pitch bends and I'm FINALLY done with this part of my remake! So, so, so happy after struggling with this for the last month. Thank you so much for your help!
