Third party synths in Logic-can't adjust midi velocity ???

If a synth sound doesn’t respond to note velocity, it means it hasn’t been programmed to do so. Depending on the synth, you’ll usually need to apply the velocity to amp envelope modulator (how modulation is done, and what modulation features are available will differ for each synth.)

There is no problem with the piano roll.
