Luko
Hi guys, super new here ....Just had a question regarding playback in logic x. Im running a decked out i9 with logic x and uad plugs. For some reason just yesterday, the playback head when its pressed ( spacebar) has started flashing when its pressed, pauses ever so slightly, then commences playback. Its not in any way a stutter or overload issue, feels like a auto punch issue or a setting Ive pressed by accident. Hi from Australia, Can any one help ? Its like, super annoying...I like it starting instantly.. Luko

Solution Luko Posted March 20, 2022 Author Solution Share Posted March 20, 2022 Ok .. Ive found the issue ..Its fairly simple, but good to know. When using the Precision Multiband UAD plugin on the master bus ( with plugin compensation engaged in preferences) the Playback head takes a half second to calculate the latency then proceed with the playback. The plugin itself calculates 16448 samples = and gives me a read of 373.0ms, which in turn produces a slight momentary halt in playback while it calculates and then plays! For some reason I cant find another plugin that gives me this problem, but all sorted! Luko
