tobyduke
Hi all. I'm a long time Logic Pro X (10.5.1) user. Just started editing audiobooks. I really need to be able to insert room tone, or more simply put, a silent region (which I have pre copied using apple-C) into another region without it overlapping AND more importantly shifting the subsequent audio backward. So, essentially I need to use both Drag functions (No Overlap and Shuffle L) at the same time. I need to click on the point I want to insert the region into, apple V, it separate the region, push the right hand side back and put the new region in, without it overlapping. Is that doable? It will save me soo much time!!! I've been searching for ages and can't see anyway to do this. Thanks in advance.
David Nahmani
No, it's not possible to do that in Logic Pro. You used to be able to do that in Soundtrack Pro, but that software was unfortunately retired.
