kerochan
I am totally baffled with all this, I intend buying a Macbook Pro M1 Max and using my old Apple TB 27 Display, Is this the correct adaptor? https://www.apple.com/uk/shop/product/MMEL2ZM/A/thunderbolt-3-usb-c-to-thunderbolt-2-adapter?fnode=e7918d4888bec33edd8243973f04944c3d35c7a78c05738460c67a4e7929e19573b70bf4ffb02cd9f396ae6358bd1d718fff540cd6f560cacb175bd59905f0a917ee2de8585228e21f9046682493fd5e326e9c90f4c052064fd3af0457d1276d It does not mention that its compatible with the M1 Max Macbook pro, nor does it mention thunderbolt 1 (which the display is) nor does mention thunderbolt 4, which is what the macbook is! Any help appreciated,
ozinga
It is the correct adapter. It says on the page you linked actually. "In addition, it can be used to connect Thunderbolt-enabled displays — such as the Apple Thunderbolt Display and LG Thunderbolt 2 displays — to any of the Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) / USB 4 ports on your Mac."
