MusiquedeReve
Version: Logic 10.7.3 Computer: 2022 MacBook Pro 16" M1 Max; 64GB unified memory; Monterey 12.3.1 Since yesterday, Logic continually crashes, regardless of the project file and regardless of whether I open it in native or Rosetta Would uninstalling Logic and reinstalling it be the first place to start trying to fix this? Thank you
xgman
Not necessarily. Does it crash without any third party plugins loaded? If not, copy all you Audio Units to a backup folder and then copy portions of the plugins back into Components in stages to test stability. Then narrow it down to what is causing the crashes. If it's crashing without any plugs loaded, then maybe delete the logic plist's and au cache and let it rebuild and set logic to it's default settings to start. Before doing all of the above, I would check the Logic preferences Buffer settings and cpu cores settings and maybe add # of cores, etc to possibly troubleshoot that. Thank you for your response My buffer is at 256 Cores are set to: 10 I am going to save all the tracks as MIDI files then try to rebuild and see if maybe just certain projects are corrupted
