Peter Project
Hey Gang. After a lot of troubleshooting with Apple I've been advised that I need to reinstall Logic at which point I think I might just do a clean wipe of my computer and reinstall everything from the ground up. It's been 20 years of migrating and I think it needs it. That being said, what is the best way to go about ensuring 20 years of customized Logic channel strips/Library/exs instruments, settings etc get reinstalled with it? I've always found Logic's file architecture terribly non-intuitive. Thanks!
David Nahmani
My advice would be to purchase a new SSD, install the newest versions of macOS and Logic Pro supported by your Mac, then start importing what you need from the old hard drive to that new SSD. That's a great idea. These 2019 mac pros seem to be a hell of a headache when it comes to replacing system disks. I'm leaning towards cloning the system disk, then nuking it. Then I'll have the time machine to import stuff off of if I need to.
