prof
I have a mono vocal that I've manually edited sibilant sections with volume automation but when I bounce the track in place the volume changes I made are not embedded into the newly bounced track. Is volume track automation really not included in bounce in place?? What's the best way to achieve this?? TIA, prof

prof
Ok, checking that box did embed the volume automation changes but it creates a stereo file when the original track was mono. When the Included Volume/Automation box in unchecked it bounces a mono file just like the original. Not sure why checking the Volume/Automation box is turning a mono file into stereo
David Nahmani
3 minutes ago, prof said: Not sure why checking the Volume/Automation box is turning a mono file into stereo Because it bounces the signal at the output of the channel strip and you have a stereo output selected in the Output slot of the channel strip. You can overcome this by selecting a mono output in that slot.
