ew1
Hello all. If anyone could offer some explanation for this conundrum, I would be very appreciative. I have a soft synth generating a sine wave. I assume it is a pure, unadulterated sine wave because the patch is called "sine" and comes form a subfolder called "pure waveforms". It is playing Db 2 up to E 2. When I play sine tones in a chromatic scale, the analyser shows the pitch frequency increasing evenly almost every time the note changes. However, between D2 and Eb2 the analyser shows the fundamental frequency jumping up by what seems like more that 1 semitone. Is this just due to the resolution of the plugin? Or is this a sign that the tone I'm playing isn't a pure sine wave? Thanks
triplets
Could be a combination of pitch accuracy and detection accuracy on both plugins.
analogika
That analyser is set to a really low resolution.
