PDXSmitty
During Playback in Logic I am experiencing frequent interuptions - quick little hiccups/blips for lack of a better way to describe it. I always quit all other programs when using Logic. Anyone else experience this. I have a MacBookPro only a year old running on Monterey OS. triplets
Did you install any 3rd party plugin demos?
PDXSmitty
No - the only third party plug-ins I have/use are fully licensed.
polanoid
What audio hardware? Logic version?
PDXSmitty
Apogee Duet and Logic Pro v. 10.7.4. I think I started noticing this when I upgraded my Mac to Monterey OS.
tyrebo
I am experiencing this but only through my interface, particularly when tracking. Despite the cutouts of the other tracks playback, the recorded audio comes in intact. If I'm just working on editing stuff with headphones, no interface, no cutouts. Arturia so far hasn't had much to say about it

Does it behave differently if you use built-in audio?
PDXSmitty
Yes - exactly as tyrebo explained his experience above: it doesn't skip/interrupt except when I'm running through my interface. And when it does via the interface, it is only a playback issue; even when the playback interruptions occur during overdubs/tracking, the resulting recording is fine. It just disrupts the timing of performance if the playback track hiccups while recording an overdub.
PDXSmitty
One further thought if indeed these hiccups seem to be related to the Apogee Duet interface: whenever I launch Logic I have to go through a series of "Quit" actions (7 actually) for legacy Apogee plug-ins that I no longer have licenses for. I've never used any of these anyway and its a pain to have to go through this every time I launch Logic. I wonder if I got rid of all these if that might solve/help the problem? I'm not sure to go about deleting those 7 plug-ins?
polanoid
I don't think those plug-ins are the culprit, but if you want to give it a try: https://knowledgebase.apogeedigital.com/hc/en-us/articles/360050220634-How-to-Uninstall-Apogee-Plug-Ins-on-MacOS TBH I always had issues with USB Audio interfaces, especially my Duet, so I switched to an Element 46 and have had no problems ever since.
