AMD
Hello everyone. I can't remember the last time where a week went by without Logic behaving in some strange way or another, but this must be one of the weirdest things to happen yet. I opened a project I use regularly for keyboard practice and suddenly the channel strip solo command (which I have set to S) and the arrow keys on my computer keyboard stopped working. All other keys seem to work fine and it's only happening in this project, so it's not my computer keyboard. Another bizarre behaviour is also occurring where the key B3 on my music keyboard is triggering some random snare sample! No matter what channel strip I select, when I press the B3 key, it will play whatever instrument I have loaded PLUS some random snare sample! Would anyone have any idea how I might go about troubleshooting this? My screenshot shows the only record enabled channel strip, so no other sounds should be sounding except the Grandeur Piano, but on pressing the B3 key, I hear B on the piano PLUS a random snare sample. David Nahmani
It sounds like you've learned some assignments unwillingly. To make sure, choose Logic Pro > Control Surfaces > Bypass All Control Surfaces and see if everything behaves as expected?
Solution AMD Posted June 11, 2022 Author Solution Share Posted June 11, 2022 Hi David. Thanks for your reply. I probably should have tried this first before posting, but I quit Logic and restarted my Mac and it seems to have sorted itself out. I don't think I'd restarted in quite some time, so maybe that was the reason.

Meanwhile if the issue comes back, let us know.
