behaviour
Hi, I'm trying my best to assign a keyboard controller slider to the Filter 1 Cutoff in the sampler plug-in in Logic Pro. I'm using an Arturia Keylab Essential 61 keyboard controller. I can control the Filter 1 Cutoff from say velocity, or the pitch or mod wheels but these 2 wheels seem to be assigned to pitch and I can't seem to repurpose them to just the Filter 1 Cutoff. None of the control numbers I select seem to be tied to any of the sliders or knobs on my keyboard controller. I'm quite perplexed ... what am I missing here? Thanks in advance for your help! :)
Solution enossified Posted June 11, 2022 Solution Share Posted June 11, 2022 Try using Smart Controls. Map them once and be done with it. From the Arturia manual: "The faders can also control any other MIDI CC parameter you wish while using any of the User maps, and can be assigned using the Arturia MIDI Control Center." Set up a user map for the Smart Controls and it will work on any track. For your specific problem, set up one of the Smart Controls on your Sampler track to be cutoff (if it's not been preassigned by Logic).
behaviour
Thanks for the advice, it was a little bumpy but I got there. Opening Arturia's MIDI Control Center was the trick to making it work. In there I could see the CC# for each controller, and change them of course. Thanks again!
