download problem

this topic has been covered before but I'm running into the same issue and nothing helps...
not only for the sound library but also for Demo songs...
 

Logic Pro was not able to complete the download. Check your Internet connection and try downloading again.

I’m not at the studio presently… But have you tried SMC & NV/PRAM resets? Then try to refresh the library? Or proceed from the library manager?

It's not an internet thing nor a Download Manger problem. It's the same behaviour with the demo song content/templates. The download seems to be normal..100%... then I'm asked to type in my password to install and then I get that message.

Logic is running perfectly on my old Macbook. The one causing  the problem is a new M1.

no I didn't - why would it be useful?

Weird - and frustrating issue! Have you tried to contact Apple about it? If the Mac is a new one, maybe it's still under AppleCare? I suppose that it could be some kind of network setting, or a firewall issue, or some kind of security setting something that blocks the Mac from using the downloaded content.
