Shamogi
Hi, I have recently started recording with the latest version of Logic.I have set it up with a Soundcraft Signature external mixer as my audio interface, because I want to use the hands on controls of the hardware. The mixer is set up as the input and output device in 'Audio Devices' in the 'Preferences' menu.I can plug my audio instruments into the mixing desk, hear them through my monitors, and record them onto tracks in Logic. But as yet,I have not worked out how to mix those tracks using the external mixer. I am asking how I can map the virtual mixer to the hardware, i.e. how I can use the desk to mix my music.I am quite new to this,so only just getting to know the ropes. Thanks, And
polanoid
Which Soundcraft Signature model do you have? AFAICT you need to have one of the MTK ones (12 MTK or 22 MTK) to use the desk for mixing without any additional audio hardware (the non-MTK ones only have a 2in 2 out USB interface)
