D.D. Jackson
I keep getting weird feedback loops. I presume that I create a Device in Loopback in which I route the signal from my Elements 88 sound card (which appear on channels 17 and 18) to the output channels 1 & 2, and then set Logic's Audio Preferences' Input to this Device. Not working. Thanks for any help - D.D.
Atlas007
I wonder if using something like BlackHole could be a viable solution in your context?

Atlas007
Just out of curiosity, how does Loopback compares to BlackHole?

I've never used BlackHole, but LoopBack allows you to create virtual devices that combine multiple audio sources and route them anywhere you want. David Nahmani
I suppose that if all you need is to route one app to another, for example the system audio to Logic Pro, and that's all, then something like BlackHole is enough (assuming it's reliable). But if you want to do more complex routing such as mixing a live microphone with the output of Logic Pro and your system audio to Zoom or Skype while you monitor it at the same time, then LoopBack is great. It is reliable, yes. You can download a free demo that works for 20 minutes then feeds you white noise, if you want to try it out. 1

DanRad
Maybe this should be a separate thread, but since you mentioned ZOOM...Has any one figured out how to use Logic and Zoom Audio Device (or some other trick) with Zoom and not have the lag. I can share computer sound with Zoom through the Zoom audio device but if I try and play along.... the delay makes it unworkable. Thanks for any input DanRad
